Welcome!
My name is Creedence Rayne. I also go by my Cree name, askiy iskwêw, which was given to me in ceremony. I’m a proud nêhiyawiskwêw (Cree woman) from Treaty 6 territory in Canada.

Life has since brought my family and me to Mi'kma'ki (Nova Scotia), after moving across the country over the past decade. It’s a big step for both my business and my personal journey, and I’m excited to explore it more.

I didn’t grow up with as much access to my traditional culture as I would have liked, so today I’m reconnecting with my roots in ways that are accessible to me. I taught myself to bead while living in Pond Inlet, Nunavut, in the late fall of 2021 — and it quickly became a passion.

As I gathered more supplies and knowledge, I realized I wanted to share that passion. With people like you — people who celebrate the delicacy, meaning, and beauty of handmade beaded earrings.
